Goode being the 34 year old has preferred to be in the Exiles to continue playing for his career. England has capped him 17 times for a role in coaching in joining the Exiles. In 2013, Wasps saw Goode joining them after Worcester Warriors. He also has the second position in scoring points in the Aviva Premiership. He is not lagging behind Charlie Hodgson with a big margin.
His spells at Leicester made his name famous which includes Premiership titles which are 5 with two Cups of Heineken during his tryst with Welford Road. He has also been part of Brive, the French side, Saracens and Sharks, the Rugby team of South Africa. He had a successful career which he wants to continue with the Irish. Goode states that his intensity of playing games has gone to a next level.
He thinks that it is a great opportunity to be joining the London Irish. The time he spent with the Wasps was amazing for him and he regards Dai Young, Derek Richardson and the players along with coaches.
He is excited to be in the role of coaching. He has still lot of left to play for the Aviva Premiership and Europe. Bob Casey, the operation director of London Irish was excited when he got the signature from Goode for the season of 2015-2016.
Casey in an interview pointed out that he is a top player who has a good percentage along with the kick in the Premiership. It is the treasure of experience which he has to be a top leader since he has already proven by being a worthy fly-half in the Premiership. Dai Young also expressed his views by saying that his love to play for London Irish is understandable so he is happy for him and wishes him all the best for future.
